Rheoware Simulation Inc is a spin-off of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada.
Rheoware's main mission is to redesign, improve and commercialize the simulation & optimization software for the plastic processing industry developed by Industrial Materials Institute (IMI) of NRC, an international recognized R & D center for materials processing and forming industry for more than 17 years. This predictive finite element software is specifically designed for blow moulding, thermoforming and injection process.
Rheoware focuses on client needs in the international market primarily for automotive & transport, packaging, building & construction and industrial plastic sectors.
Rheoware operates on the European, Middle Eastern and Asian Pacific markets.
For the last 17 years, the Industrial Materials Institute (IMI) of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) invested over tens of millions of dollars on the development of numerical simulations tools for processing plastic and on-line ultrasonic technology for monitoring of polymer processing.
Rheoware's main proprietary products, BlowView and FormView, helps companies improve their part performance, optimise the processing conditions on their machine and most importantly reduce their product development time by eliminating the costly trial and error method. These software suites have been developed with the cooperation of more than fifty companies in the plastic processing industry, who provided results for the software validation. Those companies were using the software in their daily design and production operations. Thus, the software has been thoroughly tested and is ready for commercialisation.
