Rheoware Form View
With more than 18 years of R&D expertise under its belt and over $40 million invested by the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada (the Canadian government's leading R&D organisation), Rheoware Simulation Inc., a spin-off of the NRC, has developed solutions that has been benchmarked and used by a consortium of industry leaders in Automotive and Transport, Packaging, Building and Construction and Industrial Plastic.
Rheoware’s two core products, BlowView and FormView, have since been implemented into the design cultures of major packaging and automotive parts manufacturers, including ABC Group, Coca Cola, Kautex-Textron, Inergy, Ford-Visteon, TI Automotive and VITEC Corp, amongst others.
Both BlowView and FormView utilises an interactive user-friendly interface named Pre-Processor, which guides the user seamlessly through the input of key process parameters. Input is accomplished through entering simple processing conditions and material properties, which could also be imported from a database.
FormView is a finite element anaylsis tool specific for the transportation, electronics, construction and packaging industries, and specialises in the simulation of thermoforming processes including sheet reheating by radiation, sheet stretching, part cooling, and part shrinkage and warpage. FormView also supports local mesh refinement, vicoelastic and hyperelastic models for large deformations, non-isothermal effects, and prediction of forming defects (webs and folds), amongst others.
FormView has been used and validated by more than 50 industry leaders in Europe, North America and Asia. |
