7th ASEAN ANSYS Conference

Inspiring Engineering

30th and 31st October 2008

Amidst the blistering pace at which technology advances, engineering has become an indispensable ingredient in a company’s quest for progress and a means to deliver organisations from the spectre of obsolescence.

Through the creative application of engineering, the foundation of a multi-billion dollar industry in South East Asia is built, bringing about ASEAN’s metamorphosis from reliance on agriculture and fishing to expertise in the manufacturing and service industries.  Faced with the threat of emerging economic powerhouses, China and India, it is all the more imperative for ASEAN to embrace engineering, innovation and cooperation to ensure the group’s continued survival in this globalised world.

The 7th ASEAN ANSYS Conference will see many distinguished guests and engineering professionals from numerous leading organizations in diverse industries of South East Asia showcasing their work involving the use of ANSYS and its impact in their organizations. Over the years, the ASEAN ANSYS User Conference has attracted numerous engineering managers, engineers, ANSYS experts as well as users from a wide variety of industries.

Coupled with the growing pervasiveness of high performance computing and the ever increasing use of ANSYS simulation solutions in an expanding number of industries, the relevance and the importance of this conference amongst the engineering community is even more significant.

This conference is valuable to CEOs, CTOs, Designers, Engineers and Scientists who wish to keep abreast of the latest offerings, trends and developments of solutions, technologies and methodologies used by the world’s most innovative and successful companies.

Our theme this year, Inspiring Engineering, emphasizes the importance of engineering and the role it plays in spearheading companies’ innovation and problem-solving processes.  In addition to stimulating engineering, this conference aims to educate participants on how solutions from ANSYS can be used to solve challenging problems, provide product updates and technology demonstrations, training and networking opportunities. Ultimately, the overarching objective is to inspire success.
